Mr. Arguello attended elementary and junior high school at St. Joseph’s Catholic School in Bryan, Texas. He went to three different Texas high schools: A&M Consolidated in College Station, Ball High School in Galveston, and Southwest High School in Fort Worth. Mr. Arguello graduated from Southwest High School a semester early and joined the United States Army Reserves. After completing basic combat training at Fort Bragg, South Carolina, and advanced individual training in psychological operations at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, Mr. Arguello went to the University of Iowa. Mr. Arguello graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a concentration in International Relations and a minor in philosophy.
While he was working for a staffing agency during the summer after his sophomore year, Mr. Arguello was assigned to a State Farm Catastrophe office following a hail storm in Iowa City, Iowa. There, Mr. Arguello began his career in the insurance industry. Through the following years, Mr. Arguello moved from a temporary clerical position at the State Farm storm office to an independent insurance adjuster’s apprentice to being an independent adjuster in his own right. From 1997 to 2005, Mr. Arguello handled over 3,000 property damage insurance claims as an independent adjuster for such companies as State Farm and USAA.
In 2005, Mr. Arguello enrolled at Baylor Law School in Waco, Texas on a full tuition scholarship. After graduating in February 2008 and after taking the July 2008 bar, Mr. Arguello began working for the Hope Law Firm, PLLC. Shortly after being admitted to the Texas bar in November of 2008, Mr. Arguello became the managing partner of the Hope Law Firm, PLLC, which was shortly thereafter renamed Arguello, Hope & Associates, PLLC.
