The McLeod building at 2313 Strand is in the National Registry of Historic Buildings - constructed in 1870. The building's official name is the Magale Building after its original owner and is part of a row of buildings termed "iron fronts" because of their unique iron facades.

The building was purchased and completely restored according to GHF standards in 1976. As the Strand progressed in restoration and popularity, many of the properties were converted from warehouse to office and retail space.

The first floor was completely renovated after Hurricane Ike and was occupied by tenant Arguello, Hope & Associates from October 2009 until March 2012.

We weathered the challenging post-Hurricane Ike era together, and Arguello, Hope & Associates will continue to help clients in Harris and Galveston counties with Homeowners' and Business Owners' Insurance Cases, Personal Injury Cases, and Immigration Cases.
